I am also excited about the car, and I can’t choose from your four categories - I think each one would make an excellent draw-along theme, so I’m sorry to say, you’ll have to do at least four more Downton Abbey themed sessions! ;) For a glimpse at the rooms my husband and I designed for Etsy, you can see peeks here (about halfway down the page): https://www.jengubicza.com/projects These were three “phone booth” style rooms we did for Etsy employees to make private phone calls in, since there was an open office design at the corporate HQ. The Villain Room is the one in the center, and I’m sorry there isn’t a photo of the bottles and other little trinkets inside. There was a cape and helmet so you could dress appropriately on your call. And evil plans and blueprints. There was also a tiny room filled with giant plush office supplies and another room that you entered like a phone booth and was filled with tons of tiny cabinets floating on the walls and each cabinet contained a different object or surprise inside that you could discover when you opened each one. We also got to design a space station conference room and commissioned artists to make quilt "views into outer space" that hung in each window. Such weird, fun projects that we were given basically free reign on!

I mean, twist my arm, right?! I clearly have no enthusiasm for more Downton sessions! 😂 And your website!! I was creepin' on it yesterday looking for those and I wondered if those were them...How freakin' cool?! I also love the telephone booth door. And your typewriter! Your work/path/experience is such a blast, I'm so glad to be connected with you! 💙 I hope you have a book project with the requisite plushy coming out soon!...? 🤞🏼

Haha - thanks for creepin’ on my site! I’m obsessed with your style and was so thrilled to see you sign with Jennifer March Soloway! I got to chat with her at an ABLA retreat last year and she’s fantastic. I hope you’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline! I’m glad to be connected to you too. :)

My work/path/experience is a weird journey, that’s for sure! As far as any upcoming books go, I’ve been taking classes and working on a bunch of projects to build up both writing and illustration portfolios. I just sent out a big batch of submissions to agents last week. We’ll see what shakes out! Fingers crossed for sure.

Thank you so much for recording this! I'm really looking forward to watching and drawing along! I will admit I scrolled to the end real quick to see the art share. It's always one of my favorite parts of draw-alongs and this one was just as wonderful as the rest!

I was disappointed to have missed it (shakes fist at responsibilities), but am looking forward to drawing along with the replay.

I love drawing old cars! They're the best kind.

Oh wonderful - I'm glad to hear! I thought cars fell in with horses & hands, but I'm glad to hear people are interested. Old cars are so dreamy! I hope you enjoyed the replay and can join for the next one!
